Note from Lily’s mom – we have Skyler here right now. I thought I would get him to say a few things about Lily. Yeah, she’s hot… oh dear. But let me tell you how comforting it is to know that there is someone out there that loves my daughter unconditionally (yes, even at 10 years old) I know he will love her forever. She will always have a friend in Skyler. As they were walking arm in arm he tilted his head close to hers and said “I Love You” and then he ran off to be an airplane.  The T21 Traveling Afghan posted an interesting post today. It’s actually a giveaway and you’re suppose to post your connection in the Ds community. I think she might have been talking about how the families/parents have been connected. But, as I watched these two lovebirds running down the street playing tag with each other I thought about “Ties that Bind” These kids get it; not just Skyler and Lily, but every individual I have met that has Ds. You are their friend for life it doesn’t matter if they are 10 or 47. Skyler will love me and be my friend when I’m an old, old woman, and probably still be kissing Lily
