Today Lily and I went to get pedicures. It was so much fun, although I’m sure it was not as relaxing for all the others women sitting around listening to Lily chitty chat the whole time. After we were done we were walking through Nordstroms and decided to look at the school sale. Lily tried on a pair of three inch heels and in the process scraped off part of her flower and the little rhinestone. The nails are still cute and it was no big deal to me so I was surprised when she got in the car and told me to tell Dad about it and pretend that it was my fault that her polish got ruined. “Mom you just pretend it was your fault, you won’t get into trouble” she said with a great big smile. My baby girl is a con-artist.
This was on the solar eclipse day. Tim and Helena made a way for us to see it.
