Thursday Lily and I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful musical program put on the the South Davis Special Needs Mutual. Over 150 individuals with disabilities sang and danced as they shared an important message with the audience. Anyone can live a fairytale life. You just have to open your eyes, see your potential, and love yourself for who your are.
My favorite part was the Beauty and the Beast part where couples came out and waltzed around the stage. Lily’s favorite part was Under the Sea where they had flowing water and sea creatures all over the stage.
The costumes were fun and the set decorations were big and colorful. The leaders did a wonderful job directing, leading, and guiding these individuals to a performance that was worthy of several standing ovations.
